The great one

I played hockey since grade school my childhood idol was Wayne Gretzky just the control he had in the ice and the way he moved with such grace was so captivating to me . I tried to portray how I saw him play In this abstract painting of the great one i used a turkey baster to show and represent the smooth controlled swirls in the background and I used a broken hockey stick dipped in paint to show the explosive splatters also mixed in the background .
